Thankful card/CAS-ual Fridays CFC87: make your mark

I made this card awhile ago, and thought it would fit in this week's challenge.  I'm a bit lazy on posting my cards on this blog, I have made loads of cards recently, but just can't be bothered to put them up.  Maybe I should keep my blog updated more often.  Thrilled to see that there are many people from other countries actually viewed my blog, including one of my favouriate cardmaker Vicky.  Vicky is very talented in craft, especially in cardmaking, and her cards are gorgeous!  Be sure to visit her website, I'm sure she will amaze you too!

Anyway, here is the card, a bit of stamping, bit of embossing, bit of colouring.
Thanks again for viewing.

Thank you cards

Hmmmm, after Christmas and New year, the first cards that I need are Thank you cards.  After receiving loads and loads presents at the holiday season, it's the time to show my appreciation.  So here we go, all those cards are based on one design.

The sentiment stamps are from Fiskars, and all the designer paper are from Stampin' Up.  Bits of ribbons and twine are from local craft shop.

Enjoy and thanks!

CAS-ual Fridays CFC86 Long and Short

Oh la la, I have another card made for this week challenge.

So here is the card:

The card base measures 3.5 x 7.  I used two different colours to create the sun, and then just stamped the tree image and the sentiment afterwards. Very simple, and so easy to recreate.  I think I spent less than 5 minutes on this card.

Here is a closer look:

Hope you enjoyed, and thanks for viewing.

CAS-ual Fridays CFC86 Long and short

I'd like to take on CAS-ual Fridays this week's challenge - long and short.  So here's my card:

The card base measures 3.5 x 7.  The stamp set is from Fiskars - playful time, I stamped the clouds and the kite on the card and on a watercolour paper, then coloured them with Inktense pencils then cut out the images to made a 3D effect.
The sentiment letters are from Tim Holtz Vintage Market alphabet die and I ran though my big shot with some red card stock to match the colour of the kite.

Oh yes, forgot to say that I distressed the card base first with 2 distress inks - broken china and some green colour - the name I've forgotten, sorry, :)

So, enjoy and thanks!

Christmas cards 2012 - the rest

Hello!

Sorry I had not been able to update my Christmas card posts in the whole Dec. I was planning to post my Christmas card maybe twice a week right till Christmas, but things didn't work out and there were other things that held me back. BUT, as I already made the cards, I thought it would be quite nice to post them anyway, so I'm going to do a very long post today, and share some of the cards that I made.
