That's not bad for a day's work, huh?

Just booked a table at a craft market, it's on the 16th Nov, I'm working very hard to make as many as I can.  Yesterday was very fruitful, I made all these cards and tons of gift tags.  So I'm very pleased.

The little penguin stamp, the globe and everything in the globe stamps are from Clearly Besotted, and all the sentiment stamps are from Hero Arts.

Anyway, enjoy!

Ahoy Matey!

This is my second post today, phew.
Dropped my son off at my sister-in-law's and he's having a sleep over there.  I'm feeling really strange right now, a bit sad.  But my husband and I are having a weekend off, just two of us, so that's nice.  We are going to a Korean restaurant for food tonight, ohhhh, can't wait.

Made this card last night, well actually made four in one go.  So here is the photo:

The stamps used in this card are from Clearly Besotted, atlas paper is from crate paper, it's their story teller 6x6 pad.  I distressed the edges with the memento rich cocoa ink, and tear the edges of two shades of blue cardstock to make the waves.

Anyway, enjoy, and have a wonderful weekend!
xx

Getting ready for this year's Christmas fairs.

I've been so busy recently, there are some craft markets that I would like to attend to, and hopefully sell some of my cards.  I love Christmas markets, there are so many talented people there selling cakes, nice food, nice Christmas decorations etc, the dangerous thing is, I always spend more before I even realise it.

Anyway, I'm mass producing cards these days.  Have to say, I haven't made lots of Christmas cards this year, because I think a lot of people would buy their cards from shops, you get 5 or 10 cards for a fiver or something like that, much cheaper than buying handmade cards.  So for this year, I made quite a few packs, 5 cards in a pack, similar design but different colours, some are with matching gift tags, I think these pack will sell well at the markets.  Finger crossed!

So here are some photos I'd like to share:

So the finished pack contains 5 cards, the cupcake, owl, lemon, and bird stamps are from Hero Arts, the Happy Birthday sentiment is from Penny Black, and the umbrella and matching sentiment is from Clearly Besotted Stamps.
I used to hate mass producing cards, I still do, no fun at all, but it works when you only have limited space and time.  And, it's not THAT bad after all.  I made 6 packs within 5 hours (actually in two days, I only make cards when my 19 months old son is having his nap after lunch).

Our house is smaller than our last one, I have to give up my craft room for the new baby (due in Dec.), so when I make cards, I can only take out what I need and make loads (it's almost impossible, because I always find that I'm going back and forth to my storage boxes for more stuff, and end up having all my boxes lying around the table, you know what I mean if you are a crafter.  Ohh, and I don't do 10 minutes or 5 minutes challenge, I just can't make A card within 10 minutes), and pack away for a few days till the crafty mind and rash hits me next time (almost the next day), lol.

Here are some more.  The die for the Christmas pack is from memory box, I think it's called the fluttery vines, or something like that, the 6x6 paper pack is from dove craft, vintage Christmas collections, I actually used the scraps made into matching gift tags to go with the cards.  The dies for the Thank you card pack are from Clearly Besotted Stamps, are they adorable?

Anyway, it's 8am now, and my son just woke up, I need to get up and prepare breakfast for us.  I have another set I made last night, and hopefully I'll put the photos up later today.

So bye for now.

Thank you card

Just posting a card here that I made this morning.

I first die-cut 3 butterflies using this die from Clearly Besotted Stamps on a piece of orange cardstock, and stamped my sentiment in dark brown ink.  Then die cut another 3 butterflies using 3 different colours and because I used the same die, so the butterflies fit nicely and neatly into the negative space on the card.  I only glued the centre of each butterfly so the wings can pop up.  To finish off the card, I added some silver/clear gems, just scattered them around my sentiment.

Clearly Besotted Stamps has its own challenge, and this month is about autumnal colours, so here is the colour palette:

Anyway, enjoy!

Fell in love with clearly besotted

Just purchased some winter/Christmas stamp set from Clearly besotted Stamps, fell in love with this little dude, made a few cards in one go, here are some photos.

Not very happy with the following 2 cards, first time to try out some new embossing colours, hmmm, not sure.

Would have been lovely, but the globe is not centred.  Shame!

It's been a while...

Yes, it has been a really long time since last time I posted here, because:

1. We are pregnant with our second baby! Yay!  But this time, I was a bit sick in the beginning, that's one reason that I hadn't posted anything.
2. We moved house!  It's crazy, I know, with 5 month pregnant, and a 16 month old baby, and a full-time working daddy, we'd decided to move house.  I packed my craft room first, because I knew if I just left it till the end, it would end up with lots of giveaways and things like paper pads, cardstocks won't be packed neatly.
3.  It took a while to get settled in our new place, it's a nice wee flat right by the sea, we all love it, but there were so many jobs to do around the flat, and new people to meet, and I'm getting tired quite easily, and my craft boxes still unpacked and I couldn't be bothered to take things out...
4.  Eventually we are settled, and I managed to unpack few things to make cards, and I couldn't make anything, I'd not been making cards for a few months then, and the first few cards that I made, I just completely not happy with.

Anyway, there are some reasons why it's been quiet here.  But I still would like to post some photos, and here they are:
